First of all, let me congratulate Bohol’s
most famous & most solid drum & bugle corps, the Pentagon Drum & Bugle
Corps of Bohol on the occasion of the group’s 11th Year Anniversary!
When I got invited to their anniversry dinner at Bohol Tropics by one of the
group’s senior members, Renel Dangoy, a former college student of mine, I never
hesitated to say YES

I was also given the difficult job of
judging the winners of their Photo Challenge. I was supposed to pick out the
Top Three Winners based on the message of solidarity, loyalty & memories
And so here are the winners based on the
guidelines & criteria. Special thanks to Floramae Dal, the beautiful wife
of Renel for giving me the link. Pentagon DBC Photo Challenge Winners
The picture shows the resiliency of the
Group because even though we all experienced the 7.2 magnitude earthquake, the
group still has the time to help especially the most affected people. Good job!
The picture shows fun. Everytime you are
with Pentagon DBC, there is always fun and even though there are problems
encountered, with just a smile, everything will be fine.
The picture shows creating memories with
Pentagon DBC. The longer you are with the group, the more memories that are built
to treasure.

They are the very foundation of the group.
