On Tuesday, August 25, 2015, the sixth edition of Miss Panglao will  culminate with the selection and crowning of  the town’s next spokesperson for its community- based advocacy projects.

Miss Panglao 2015 will be chosen from a bevy of 14 young ladies whose ages range from 15 to 21 years old and represent eight of the town's barangays, three Panglao- based secondary schools, two from socio- civic groups and one from a luxury resort.

Panglao Mayor Nila Montero believes that through the Miss Panglao Pageant, the town's youth will be be able to enhance their personalities, strengthen their interpersonal and communication skills.  Former SK Panglao Federated Chair Aya Montero who revived the pageant in 2010 added that the pageant is used to spotlight the town's important advocacy projects that would benefit the community.
