Club Prexy Nap Betonio and hardworking organizing committee members Janin Tan, Ruby Guinto, Dr. Iris Inting Gozales, Bunny Casenas- Amores excitedly informed Your Blogger that close to a thousand runners from Malaysia, China, Japan, USA, Hong Kong, Kenya and from runners clubs from all over the Philippines be racing under five different categories.
3:00 A.M. STARTING LINE IN PANGLAO ISLAND
Participants who will be competing in five race categories will converge at the Panglao Town Plaza, Panglao Island some 15 kilometers from the capital city of Tagbilaran
The idyllic Panglao island with all its postcard- pretty scenery and white sandy beaches will provide the backdrop to this international sporting event. The town of Panglao led by Mayor Nila Montero eagerly awaits the arrival of runners, guests and the media.

Among the high-
profile faces who are flying in for the August 24 run are Patrick Concepcion ,
the organizer of the famed Condura Skyway Marathon in Manila, TV5 producers, members of Team Philippine
Star as well as familiar faces from Cagayan de Oro City, Leyte, Surigao, Iloilo, Cebu and Dumaguete.
The international race will surely be a shot in the arm for Bohol's burgeoning tourism industry which suffered a big blow from last year's quake aftermath.
