MEGAN YOUNG WINS TOP MODEL

Even as Miss Philippines is at the center of a controversy that erupted today regarding her alleged topless photos that went viral, the Miss World Organization gathered all the 127 ladies today to announce the winners of the various Challenge Events.

Winners and finalists of the Challenge Events will earn points leading to the final round of the pageant that will be held in the resort island of Bali, Indonesia

THE GOOD NEWS

Our very own Megan Young has just been announced by the Miss World site as the winner of the Top Model Challenge Event.

Megan Young also placed 5th in the Beach Fashion Challenge Event and 4th in the Multimedia Challenge!

Meet the Ten Finalists for Miss World 2013 Top Model Award

The 2013 Miss World Coronation Night is taking place this Saturday, September 28 at the beautiful island resort of Bali, Indonesia

Last evening, the Top Model contest was held with the fashion show that included designs from the elite designers of Indonesia.

All the 127 contestants took part in the fashion show   

At the end of the event, the 10 finalists for Miss World Top Model were announced.

Megan Young's Chances Are Getting Stronger

Here now are more of the photos from yesterday’s Top Model Event of Miss World 2013 being held in Bali, Indonesia

Megan Young who is currently leading 129 other ladies for the blue tiara has been consistently a favorite not only in Indonesia but all over the world as well.

She is the only Asian to make the Top Ten in yesterday's competition where each of the 130 girls were given approximately 25 seconds to make a positive impact to the Board of Judges as well as the jampacked crowd that flocked to the resort island of Bali

TOP MODEL EVENT

The Top Model Event of the 2013 Miss World  Pageant being held in Bali, Indonesia has just been concluded

The good news is that our very own Megan Young was selected as one of the Top Ten Finalists for the special award

The award winner will be known during the Miss World Coronation Night this Saturday, Sept 28

130 CANDIDATES

In the Top Model Event, the 130 candidates wore creations from 48 of Indonesia’s top designers.

Megan steps on centerstage after being called as Top Ten Finalist  

According to the grapevine in Bali, Megan was single- handedly picked by a member of Indonesian royalty, Princess Ayu Mirah Suardhana who happens to be a designer for the country’s elite to wear her creation and even let Miss Philippines wear her very expensive jewelry to accessorize the gown

ONLY ASIAN IN TOP TEN

The Top Model Winner & the nine other finalists will earn points from the said preliminary event that will determine who makes it to the semifinals and eventually the final round of Miss World 2013

The nine others who made it are Ukraine, South Sudan, Brazil, France, Cameroon, Cyprus, England, Italy and the United States.

TOP TEN: Megan is 2nd from right 

Of the ten finalists, five are from Europe, two from the Americas, two from Africa and Megan is the only one from Asia
