like it will be an edition of Miss Universe like no other as far as Filipinos
are concerned. First, the venue of the world’s most prestigious beauty
competition happens to be very accessible to US- based Fiipinos. Doral, Miami,
Florida. That would translate to a huge fanbase for Miss Philippines, MJ
Lastimosa.

Right
after the news became official that our very own Ara Arida who placed 3rd
RU in the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant held in Moscow, Russia has been confirmed
to be this year’s Miss U Website Correspondent for “On the Scene” , here comes
news that the gorgeous Iglesias brothers Julio Jr. & Enrique, sons of
legendary Filipina socialite Isabel Preysler, will be the star performers
during the pageant finals.
Enrique performed during the 1997 Miss Universe in Miami where Abbygale Arenas placed 11th. Julio Jr., on the other hand, was the performer during the 1999 Miss Universe in Trinidad & Tobago where Miriam Quiambao was 1st RU

Lastly,
rumors are getting stronger by the day that Manny Pacquaio, yes the world-
famous GenSan boxer and congressman, is going to sit as a member of the panel
of judges!
