Thirty three years ago, on a hot & sizzling summer evening, the new set of Miss Tagbilaran winners was selected and crowned before an adoring crowd at the Divine Word College Gym.

Crowned as Miss Tagbilaran 1986 was Suzette Clarin with Maria Theresa “Pinky” Penales and Angie Sarabia as her runners up. Marietta “Maret” Pepito was named Best in Shorts (The swimsuit would make its appearance the following year)

Twenty years after winning the Miss Tagbilaran title, her daughter
Margo won the same title thus becoming the first & only
mom- daughter tandem to win the crown
Pinky is a US- based nurse & mom of two young men
Angie is married to a Swiss businessman Marcel Brunner
Maret runs her own restaurant & catering business
with the lovely Pepito girls & Lungay neighbors
