BARANGAYanihan has long been practiced by the PNP through the police-community relations programs such as Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko, Community Feeding Program, Adopt-a-Family Program, PNP Food Bank and other community support services that are existing and implemented in the different Police Regional and Provincial Offices down to police stations.
The project aims to intensify the PNP’s various forms of assistance that strategically situate immediate implementation in barangays, being the basic political unit of the society and the base of the grassroots citizenry.
Likewise, the BARANGAYanihan which further strengthens the partnership and collaboration between the police and partner stakeholders, aims to boost the Bayanihan spirit among PNP and the people in the community. creates awareness and amplifies the community affairs and forge better ties with the grassroots constituents.
