LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE PAGEANT

There were lessons learned from the recently- concluded male personality search. First is the reminder that physical beauty alone is not enough to at least make the first cut. One has to have the complete package that includes personality, the drive & the "hunger" for the crown. Secondly, constraints in preparation & training for the search placed our candidate at a disadvantage for a strategy hadn't been & couldn't be mapped out for him. In fact, Mr. Spainhour had to fly to the contest venue the day after he was presented to the media and sponsors as our bet to Mr. World.

Finally, it is a wake - up call to our local franchise organizers not to rest on their laurels and instead, be more focused in upholding our remarkable streak in the world of pageantry.

Nevertheless, allow me to congratulate Mr. Spainhour for responding to the call and accepting the challenge to represent us in the international tilt. He truly made us proud with the way he stood side by side with the World's Most Desirable Men!
