Miss Beauche Visayas: Krizzia Lyne Demesa

She was one of the girls that I predicted to figure prominently in the 2013 Miss Beauche International Pageant, a nationwide search for the ambassadors of beauty for Beauche, one of the country's fastest growing beauty care products

My prediction was spot on! She emerged as Miss Beauche Visayas (equivalent to 3rd Runner Up) among 24 captivating beauties from all over the Philippines in the first- ever search for Miss Beauche International held at the Solaire Resort & Casino

during the Miss Beauche Regional Costume Segment

She also bagged the Social Media Award for garnering the highest number of Likes in the pageant's Facebook Page

She finished her BS Physical Therapy degree at the University of Santo Tomas. She is now a licensed physical therapist who is biding her time whether to proceed to medicine or plunge head- on in her chosen profession.

I had the chance to know Kriz a little better when she flew in to Cebu City together with two other Miss Beauche beauties to grace the Beauche Float in the 2014 Cebu Sinulog Festival Grand Parade

Kriz is truly beautiful inside and out and I really admire the life lessons she shared with us and most particularly, the way she was brought up. Very refined, modest and respectful

I predict a rosy future for this lovely lady who embodies beauty , brains and breeding.

Eating Out in Cebu City

LARSIAN. Who hasn’t gone to the quintessential barbecue eatery in Cebu City?

I remember dropping by Larsian with my classmates and friends when I was a student before in Cebu

Last Sinulog, I brought our visitors from Manila to Larsian to sample a different side of Cebu City.

The Miss Beauche beauties and the pageant organizers were thrilled to sample the exotic food and all- time favorites like chorizo, pork barbecue, chicken barbecue & of course , “puso” or rice wrapped in leaves from coconut fronds

Everything was washed down by bottles of softdrinks & purified water

Here are some more of the photos that captured the memories of that Sinulog night at Larsian

After Larsian, we called it a night and went back to Avalon Condo to prepare for the Sinulog Parade

2014 Sinulog Parade: Behind the Scenes

Preparing for the 2014 Cebu Sinulog Parade involved a lot of time, money and the coordinated effort of everyone involved from the staff , drivers, make up artists, hairstylists to the models and the designers

Everyone had to be up and about at around four in the morning to prep up for the parade

The girls had their hair & make up done at Beauche's Cebu Sales Office in RiverGate along Gen. Maxilom Avenue but better known as Mango Avenue

Hair & make up expert Chacha Nable did a great make up job: a clean & sleek look that could stay for hours & doesn't need any retouch

After their hair & make up session, popular designer Milton Salinas dressed up the girls in stylish and gorgeous looking Filipiniana gowns with butterfly sleeves

Stylist Janus Gonzales finished off the look with matching accessories

The result?

A warm welcome from the admiring crowd who watched the parade!

What more can you ask for?
