An Angel Is Crowned Miss Calape 2017

Tall and statuesque at 5 feet and 8 inches, 17 year old Angelika Ganol Concha of Bentig was crowned Miss Calope 2017 after she bested a field of 10 lovelies during the grand coronation night held at the Calape Cultural Center & Sports Arena.  She earned the distinction of being the first to wear the Shandar crown specially designed & created for the Miss Calape 2017 Pageant.

Aside from the title and the honor of representing her town in the Miss Bohol 2017 Pageant this July, Ms. Concha also won five of the 13 special awards and corporate titles that were handed out during the pageant.

The 10 candidates competed in swimsuits, evening gowns, interviews and talent before they were trimmed down to the final five.

Adding excitement to the evening were James Ryan Cesena & Tony Labrusca, both discoveries from ABS CBN’s Pinoy Boy Band Superstar talent search.

Calape Mayor Nelson Yu and First Lady Necie Yu, the pageant’s project chair extended their congratulations to all the winners and thanked everyone who supported the pageant.
