Recalling the 2013 Bohol Sandugo Festival

The Bohol Sandugo Celebration or Sandugo Festival, also known as the Blood Compact Commemoration, is an annual historical event that takes place every year the month of July in the island province of Bohol, Philippines.

Dannah Marie Gatal Duma @ 9 Years Old

Today, July 6, 2013, is the 9th birthday of my niece Dannah Marie Gatal Orimaco, the eldest child of Maydan Duma of Cavinti, Laguna and Marie Josephine Gatal Duma of Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Getting the best genes from both her parents, I'm sure she will grow up into one lovely lady one of these days.

Who knows? She just might be the next in the Gatal clan to win a Miss Bohol title

Today Is My Blog's Eight Monthsary!

As I surpass the halfway mark and inch closer to my blog's first year anniversary, I have so much to be thankful for. 

What started out initially as my catharsis and self- expression has evolved into a chronicle for past, present and future events here in Bohol and beyond. It has been a venue also to showcase the achievements of some Boholano greats and newsmakers. 

This is my paean for them.

I am grateful for all my visitors.

There have been times when I wanted to quit but at the end of the day, I realized that I'm here because I just want to share my musings and ramblings about the world and not for anything else.
