This Christmas, Your Roving Eye asked some of Bohol’s newsmakers for their thoughts on Christmas.

Here’s what they have to say:

“Every Christmas experience is always associated with wonderful memories especially during our younger days but there are two Christmas moments that would be best for me; First one is when I actually had my first- ever date with my first- ever girlfriend! The second one would have to be the time when I was in the United States and got reunited with my sisters who I haven’t seen for a long long time.” “
For me, Christmas should be about forgiving, accepting, moving on and maintaining one’s balance” My Christmas wish is for Boholanos to be vigilant and  to make sure that this beautiful island paradise of Bohol maintain its beauty and purity”   stay as pristine and as pure as it is” Sr. Supt. Dennis Agustin, Bohol Police Provincial Office Director , An Officer & a Gentleman

I always end up having a favorite Christmas memory every year. Every year, my family and I, along with my cousins, aunts and uncles, would gather at  my grandmother's house to celebrate the season together.  We would feast over a Christmas banquet and exchange gifts. During these nights of joy and thanksgiving, I understood the true essence of Christmas.
For what is Christmas without family? The season is about celebrating the joy that we have been granted because of our families.
