Miss Philippines is 2015 Miss Intercontinental 1st RU

Our very own Christi Lynn McGarry, a 24 year old model & restaurant developer made history in Miss Intercontinental 2015 when she emerged 1^st Runner Up, the highest placement for a Filipina delegate in the said beauty pageant. Last year’s Miss Philippines Kris Tiffany Janson was 2^nd RU, Miss Photogenic and Queen of Beauty for Asia & Oceania.

 RESULTS ARE LOVELIER THE SECOND TIME AROUND


 

For the record, Christi is the first candidate to have competed in the same pageant twice. The first time was in 2010 where she made the Top Fifteen and emerged as Continental Queen of Asia & Oceania.  

Crowned Miss Intercontinental 2015 is Valentina Rasulova of Russia who bested a field of more than 60 candidates during the pageant finals held at the Maritim Congress Hotel in Magdeburg, Germany.

 

 3rd RU Venezuela, 2nd RU USA, Winner Russia, 1st RU Philippines, 4th RU Zimbabwe 

Runners up included 2^nd RU Miss USA Brianne Bailey, 3^rd RU Miss Venezuela Katherine Garcia and 4^th RU Miss Zimbabwe Tendai Bongani Humda

Rounding out the semifinalists were the girls from Austria, Ukraine, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Thailand, India, Korea, San Marino, Sao Tome & Principe, Poland and Curacao.

Congratulations to Christi Lynn and to the rest of the girls! Up next tomorrow is Miss World 2015  then Miss Universe 2015 on Monday, December 21.

Miss Intercontinental 2015 has been scheduled on December 18 in Magdeburg, Germany,  Miss World 2015 on December 19 in Sanya, China & Miss Universe 2015 on December 20 in Las vegas, USA.

The Girl to Beat in Bb Pilipinas 2015

The 34 official candidates of the  2015  Bb Pilipinas Pageant were formally introduced to media, sponsors, past and previous titleholders and pageant bloggers at Sofitel Philippine Plaza a few days ago. 

This year’s batch is an interesting mix of first- timers and repeaters, of mestizas and dusky Pinay beauties.

HEAVY FAVORITE
The runaway favorite and a frontrunner for the Miss Philippines- Universe crown is the tall morena beauty from Palawan. The 19 year old Janicel Lubina was clearly the media favorite and got the loudest buzz from those who were there during the press presentation.

Adding more drama in Lubina’s quest for the top plum of Bb Pilipinas is her sob story of hardship & difficulties being the daughter of a poor family.

But for sheer beauty, commanding stage presence and the wow factor, Janicel is definitely this year’s “It Girl”

Crown Favorites for Bb Pilipinas 2015

It’s the time of the year when the country’s fairest vie for the privilege of representing the Philippines in four major international beauty competitions, namely; Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Intercontinental & Miss Supranational

Bb. Pilipinas, now on its 52^nd year as the country’s premier and most established beauty pageant has revealed the names of the 34 official candidates who will battle it out for the crowns at the Araneta Coliseum on March 15, 2015

Here now are some of the perceived frontrunners with their respective home provinces. Surprisingly, none of the crown favorites are from Metro Manila
