The Prince of ABS CBN's Teleserye Theme Songs Wows Bohol

Bohol has found a new crush. To be honest, I have never heard of him since I don’t really have the luxury of time to sit down and watch the latest TV offerings and so when I was told that Brian Termulo was to be the special guest singer for the Miss Silka Bohol 2014 finals, I asked “Brian who?” “Tremullo or Termulo?”

Barely an hour after posting the news in the pageant’s official Facebook Fan Page, comments like “OMG! I’m gonna die” started popping out, I realized that he might be a big star. And so when we coordinated his arrival and up to our first meeting at KISS 102.3 FM where he guested, I realized why. He is not only gorgeous but also well- mannered and very accommodating. Certainly a lot better than the other so- called heartthrobs who have loads of attitude as well.

The shrieks and the swooning were the same everywhere he went. Even at the restaurant where we treated him and his manager for lunch, the service crew told me of a request: “Sir, pwede pa picture with our idol?”

Admittedly, the presence of reigning 2013 Miss Universe Gabriela Isler of Venezuela made this year's Bb Pilipinas extra special.

The last time a reigning Miss Universe came to crown a Bb Pilipinas was back in 1977 when 1976 Miss Universe Rina Messinger of Israel & 1976 Miss USA Kim Tomes came to crown 1977 Bb Pilipinas Universe Anna Lorraine Kier of Baguio City along with BB Pilipinas International Pinky Alberto

Star Wars at 2014 Cebu Sinulog Parade

As expected, TV & movie personalities elicited the most cheers from the throngs that turned out for the 2014 Cebu Sinulog Parade

We caught a glimpse of the floats & stars from rival stations GMA 7 & ABS CBN.

DANCING IN THE STREETS

I have to give props to GMA 7's Jennylyn Mercado, Yasmin Kurdi & Mark Herras for being game enough to dance up a storm on the streets while the parade was going on. 

Special mention to the bubbly & high- spirited Jennylyn Mercado who was having the time of her life as captured by our cameras

SPONTANEOUS & SPIRITED

What the Starstruck first edition winners did captured the spirit of the Sinulog Festival. It was a prelude to the revelry and merrymaking all over the city and particularly in Mango Avenue

It was both a a security nightmare for the City PNP and a risky move considering that they could have been mobbed but nothing untoward happened. 

It was an excellent PR move! Kudos!

On the other hand, Kim Chiu of ABS CBN played it safe by staying atop her float and putting on her game face. 

And oh, by the way, I'm not in any way affiliated with any of the two rival TV stations. Just look at the pictures for they would definitely tell the story
