Sunset at Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol

Visions of the perfect vacation moment continue to swirl inside my head as we near summer

The sweet and sexy Maria Camella Lusterio is being sandwiched!
Conjure images of gently swaying palm trees and the reassuring sounds of warm water lapping up the soles of your feet while you’re traipsing along the stretch of white sand in Alona Beach, Panglao, Bohol just as the fiery red orange & yellow hues of the setting sun glimmers along the horizon

All of these in the company of people who matter the most

And oh, by the way, did I mention a bottle of warm red wine and some random Café Del Mar chill out tracks to go with this wishful reverie?

Linaw Beach Resort: One of Bohol's Best- Kept Secrets

Linaw Beach Resort, a relatively new chi chi resort located in Daorong, Danao, Panglao Island, Bohol is one of the best- kept secrets of the island paradise. Linaw, a Bisayan word is an adjective that literally means peaceful, serene, tranquil.

As a Bisayan noun, Linaw becomes Kalinawan which in English of course refers to peace, serenity and tranquility

It is ensconced amidst a verdant landscape that opens up to a private white beach

It boasts of a fine dining restaurant that serves an array of international cuisine

The accommodations are impeccable and affordably- priced

The staff are amiable, accommodating  & attentive without being obtrusive

Next time you hie off to Bohol to get away from it all, Linaw Beach Resort is the place to be.

Truly, an oasis of peace and relaxation

Alona Tropical Beach Resort

Alona Tropical Beach boasts of the most spectacular beachfront in Panglao, Bohol
:

Alona Tropical Beach Resort beckons you to God’s Little Paradise the moment you arrive.

The homey resort is one of the best found in Alona Beach, Panglao, Bohol. The beach, by the way, is named after movie actress Alona Alegre who shot the movie "Esteban " with FPJ back in the mid 70's here in Bohol

Alona Tropical Beach Resort truly lives up to its name for the whole place is a veritable South Pacific isle with a profusion of lush foliage and verdant scenery

ANTIQUE MUSEUM

The resort boasts of a two storey museum that houses a treasure trove of antiques and mementos from the past.

Priceless chinaware, lamps of different sizes and shapes and religious icons whose combined estimated market value worth a king's ransom are all found in the ground floor.

On the second floor are rooms that feature four poster beds with intricate carvings and details, antiquated sewing machines and other relics.

Alona Tropical Beach Resort boasts of having the most spectacular beachfront in the entire four kilometer stretch of Alona Beach.

Dine and wine with the spectacular beachfront only a few steps away.

Of course, a visit to Alona Tropical Beach Resort isn't complete if one doesn't take a dip in the cool and inviting waters of its awesome pool

For me, the best assets of Alona Tropical Beach Resort that make guests and visitors come back over and over again are its courteous and friendly staff who make sure that one's stay is truly enjoyable and unforgettable

Not a surprise considering that the resort is owned by two of Panglao Island's most notable community leaders and public figures, Tatay Frank Montero and Nanay Nila Paredes- Montero whose business philosophy is customer service- oriented combined with sincerity , honesty and hospitality
