Tigerair Philippines Lands in Bohol

Your Blogger, lifestyle columnist of Bohol Chronicle, along with members of the Bohol press and the provincial & city government officials, was already up & about at the city airport for the Oct 23 launch of Tigerair Philippines’ direct flights from Manila to Tagbilaran.

With its lofty vision of bringing air travel closer to the people at lower fares, Tigerair Philippines entry is a timely response to the clamor for additional direct flights from Manila.

After the ribbon cutting & photo opp, guests, VIP’s & passengers were served breakfast & in between, Zaldy Narvasa, the first passenger to check in for the Tagb- Manila inaugural flight was rewarded with a round trip ticket

And if the warm & bright sunny day & the almost 80% seat occupancy rate for its inaugural flight are the gauges, then it was an auspicious start indeed for the newest kid in the block. Maajong pag-abot & cheers to Tigerair Philippines!

WARM SMILES & LEIS await the inaugural flight’s arriving passengers
