The fifth annual edition of Mr. & Ms
Olive C Model Search has been concluded with the proclamation & coronation
of this year’s winners. Bohol was represented by the triumvirate of Alexandra
Bangcaya, Geraldine Topsnik & Carlos Alfonso Cerquis who represented the
clean, wholesome image of young Boholanos.
Although the highest placement was the
Top Ten finish of Carlos in the male category, we are still proud nevertheless
of the splendid performances of these young Boholanos. They did their best but
in the end, as I always reiterate, winning is dependent also on luck, timing,
destiny and the tastes of the judges & organizers.
May the national finals be a memorable
learning experience for these three teenagers.
