EXTRAORDINARY

She is not your ordinary girl. She finished high school last year with high honors from Tagbilaran City Science High School

This June, she will be in her sophomore year at the Palawan State University where she is taking up BS Petroleum Engineering and is currently, a President's Lister (academic achievement)

The epitome of beauty & brains, she was also the representative of the Municipality of Bilar in the province- wide search for 2012 Miss Teen Bohol. She emerged 1st Runner Up and was declared Miss Talent in the same pageant

Her debut will have “Enchantment” as her theme

For this set of photos taken on location at Simply Butterflies in Bilar, Bohol, the debutante shares her thoughts on turning eighteen:

ON TURNING EIGHTEEN
A girl’s life has landmarks and milestones and turning 18 is certainly the most significant and unforgettable highlight.
For me, it marks the bittersweet transition from the innocent & carefree teenage years to the challenging years of adulthood.

This milestone is the perfect opportune time to remember and recall those seemingly trivial matters & minute details of my life that have helped shape me into what I am now.
Being 18 means being part of the decision- making at home. It also means being in charge and being in control. Of course, being 18 means a semblance of freedom for me.

On the other hand, turning 18 means exercising that freedom with maturity. Entering this significant chapter of my life means I have to be a responsible adult who is accountable for all my actions and ready to face the consequences of my actions. Turning 18 is indeed a pretty big deal for me with all its privileges as well as the responsibilities that come with it.

This is the sixth & final installment of a series for the pre- debut shoot that we did for the debutante last May 7, 2014
