Now on its seventh year, Miss Silka
Bohol 2014 aims to select not only the province’s official representative to
Miss Silka Philippines 2014 national finals but also the brand’s image model
and spokesperson in the province.
According to Mr. Gibyrlu “LJ” Lumayag ,
head eventologist of K & N Productions,
“Miss Silka Bohol 2014 will show that the contemporary Boholana does not only have beauty, brains and breeding but also the social responsibility and keen awareness.
Miss Silka Bohol is one of 30 qualifying pageants at the provincial & regional levels. With its expansive scope covering Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, the competition hopes to give Filipinas everywhere the opportunity to represent the Silka brand.
Unlike in most pageants, Filipinas who stand 5’2” or 5’3” tall can be Miss Silka because the brand also showcases a beauty that is every Filipina girl can relate with and representational of many Filipinas. A homegrown beauty, that is.”

A few days from now, the 15 official
candidates of Miss Silka Bohol 2014 will be presented to the media and the
public. An enriching and rewarding experience awaits the girls as they immerse
themselves in speech & public speaking training sessions, basic hair &
make up techniques as well as personality development in between glamorous
photo & video shoots, sponsor visits & social responsibility awareness
modules
