Catherine Cadayona Tabaniag of Panglao is Miss Silka Bohol 2018

She didn’t win any of the 10 special awards at stake but in the end she got the biggest title and succeeded the 2017 Miss Silka Bohol winner Sheena Marie Licong.  Catherine Cadayona Tabaniag of Panglao who turned 20 during the pageant received her best birthday gift yet, the Miss Silka Bohol 2018 crown and title. 

She gained the judges' nod with her consistent performance, commanding stage presence, great speaking skills and the luminous, silky smooth skin that is associated with the use of Silka beauty and skincare products from Cosmetique Asia Corporation.

It was a well- attended Miss Silka Bohol 2018 grand coronation at the ICM Activity Center, Oct 27 with most candidates bringing in their own cheering squads.  It was a competitive batch that had the audience half- guessing which girl would be bringing home the crown and the right to represent Bohol in the nationals later this November.

# 9 Kyra Hopkins of Baclayon was named 1^st RU, # 12 Christina Schott of Panglao 2^nd RU and # 4 Cristine Ponce of Tagbilaran City  3^rd RU.  Rounding out the Top Seven were # 1 Cherimae Pino, # 3 Karla Mae Telmo and # 14 Lady Grace Polinar.

After the girls’ appearances in the opening dance number, swimsuits and evening gowns, the field was narrowed down to the final seven.  ABS CBN Kapamilya talent Anjo Damiles couldn’t make it for the serenade after he missed his flight from Manila. After the Q & A, it was time to announce the final results.

2018 Miss Silka Bohol's Official Launching & Press Presentation

Miss Silka Bohol 2018 is now in full throttle after it kicked off with a citywide motorcade in the morning followed by a visit & interview at KISS 102.3 FM.

The much- awaited First Official Public Appearance& Press Presentation took place at the ICM Activity Center at 3 pm. After introducing themselves individually to the mallgoers, the official sashing ceremony followed. It was a meaningful activity for the sash is a symbol not only of the girl’s participation but also of their commitment to support all the pageant activities and respect the final outcome of the contest.

The highlight of the activity was the press presentation where the invited mediamen asked the girls questions ranging from Miss Silka Bohol Search, Silka products, about the girls’ ambitions and advocacies to relevant social issues affecting the community. The mediamen then cast their votes for their choice of Darling of the Press which will be announced on coronation night.
