2015 Saulog sa Tagbilaran Street Dancing Contest Winners

Yesterday, at 3 pm, CPG Avenue, the main thoroughfare of Tagbilaran was closed to traffic. The reason? To give way to the Saulog Street Dancing & Ritual Competition time once more

Saulog Tagbilaran 2015 took a more upbeat & colorful turn yesterday as all of the city’s 15 barangays competed for cash, pride and bragging rights in the Saulog Tagbilaran 2015 Street Dancing & Ritual Competition. It was a display of choreography, costumes and colors as the handpicked representatives danced their way to the spectators’ and judges’ hearts.

The Saulog streetdancing, apart from being a dance offering of the life of Saint Joseph, also allows Tagbilaranons to showcase what the City of Friendship has to offer.

Mayor Baba Yap wecoes everyone to the Saulog Festivities at the CG Complex

The street dancing contingents  started from Plaza Rizal, passed through CPG Avenue and winded down at the CPG Sports Complex where all the dance contingents presented their choreographed dances in their entirety.

The celebration was capped with a dazzling fireworks display that lit up the skies.Five of the 15 participating contingents were selected as winners.
