In the just- concluded Royal Floria Malaysia International Flower and Garden Festival, a week- long international floral design competition & exhibition staged in Putrajaya, Malaysia, the Philippines, represented by the Bohol- based Blue Grass Project of Boy Dumadag & Michael Yu, scooped another medal this time for the Dining Room Setting Competition.
Named “Napa Valley Nights”, the entry which depicted the celebration of a bountiful harvest was interpreted as an enchanted, romantic evening with vines, berries, cabernet and blooms. A toast to the hard work that was done, and the bright prospect that lies ahead in the golden vineyard.
The entry which used Peonies, Allum, Vanda, Dendrobium, Amaranthus, Berries, Vines and Cymbidiums was awarded the Silver Medal of Distinction.
Second place in a field of 14 international entries |
