Aside from being the first Filipino artists to represent the Philippines in the prestigious Nagasaki International Flower Contest held at the Huisten Bosch, Nagasaki, Japan, Michael Yu & Joseph Ven Dumadag, the creative duo of Blue Grass Project, also became the first Filipino representatives to win a medal in the said floral competition.

Their entry in the Floral Space and Table Design category was awarded the Bronze Medal or third place among the 12 entries.
TWELVE PARTICIPATING NATIONS Aside from the Philippines, the other participating nations were The Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, USA & Russia. Japan had two entries being the host country.
Talk about being one of the world’s best!
