Bellevue Resort in Panglao, Bohol Stages Successful Safeguard 2015 5i50 Triathlon Race

Congratulations to Bellevue Resort in Panglao for the successful staging of the 2015 5i50 Triathlon last November 8.

Close to 800 tri athletes  joined the 5150 Series, the largest international distance triathlon series in the world and the first non-drafting international race series of its kind that offers a competitive platform for professional and age group athletes.

No less than Wilfred Steven Uytengsu, President & CEO of Alaska Milk Corporation & the President of Sunrise Events Inc., event organizer came over to oversee the big tourism sports event that consisted of a 1.5K-swim in the waters off Bellevue, an exhilarating yet lung- busting 40K- bike race around the beautiful island paradise of Panglao and capped with a grueling 10k-run.

Boholano athlete Paul Jumamil of Cortes who topped the Filipino Elite Division credited his territory familiarity and the support from Boholanos who cheered him on for his first place finish.
