Audrey Hepburn considered as one of the greatest female screen legends in the history of American cinema was a British actress and humanitarian. 

At the height of her popularity and active involvement in Hollywood, she was also getting constant recognition as an international fashion icon.

The very versatile and talented Hepburn is one of only a few entertainment personalities who have won an Academy, Emmy, Grammy and Tony Awards

Hepburn also holds the distinction of being the first actress to win an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award for a single performance: Roman Holiday in 1954

When we think of style icons, it is inevitable that Audrey Hepburn's name is one of the first to come to mind. 

She embodied elegant, feminine glamour and always made even the simplest outfits seem unique, choosing classic, clean contours that complemented her long, lithe frame. 

To this day, her style is one of the most imitated, as she managed to balance her look between demure femininity and a more boyish silhouette.

My mom told me that the Sabrina neckline is  named after a famous dress Audrey wore in the movie Sabrina. Originally termed the boat neck, it became more popular as Sabrina after the movie of the same title was released

The Designer & His Muse: Hubert & Hepburn

Her designer of choice was Hubert de Givenchy, and they collaborated on many films including Funny Face (1957), Love in the Afternoon (1957), Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), Paris When It Sizzles (1963), Charade (1964), and How to Steal a Million (1966). 

But their lifelong partnership was first established when Givenchy was given the task of assembling Hepburn's look particularly her clothes in Sabrina (1954).

Audrey Hepburn would always be remembered not only for her unforgettable films but also for her iconic sense of dressing: stylishly elegant and timeless chic which she pulled off effortlessly
