Rotary Club of Panglao Island 4th Induction of Officers

SERVICE ABOVE SELF. Bellevue Resort was the venue for the twin induction rites for Rotary Club of Panglao Island and Rotaract Club of Panglao Island. Symbolic of Rotary International’s tradition of service above self was IPP Rtn. Karin Wesemael’s turnover of the gavel of authority to incoming Club Pres. Rtn. Mary Ruth Dancel- Gango, Panglao’s Education Board Commissioner during the club’s 4th Induction of Officers & Turn- over Ceremonies. 

Rotaract’s incoming Club President Chris Acero accepted the gavel of authority from IPP Rtr. Deonico Guden. Both have big shoes to fill coming after the dynamic duo of Rtn. Karin & Rtr. Deo whose leadership earned not only outstanding leadership citations but also recognition for their club’s exemplary performances.

Along with Club Pres. Mary Ruth Gango, the following were also inducted as Officers for RY 2015- 16: Vice Pres., Pres Elect Thomas Boetsch, Sec Apolinar Fudalan, Treas Maricel Madrona, Auditor Evangeline Pengreach, Sgt. At Arms Gina Stulhdreher & IPP Karin Wesemael

Directors are: Membership Mary Grace Castilla, TRF Leonila Montero, Community Service Danilo Reyes, Public Relations Arthur Bagcat, Community Development Noel Hormachuelos, Club Service Victoria Revilla

Close friends of Boots are very confident that she will be able to continue the tradition of selfless service & outstanding projects initiated by Rtn. Wesemael. 

Among the guests were District 3860 Gov. Salvador “Buddy” Estudillo, BAHRR President & Bellevue’s Mr. Rommel Gonzales himself a Rotarian, AG Zone 1F Victor Bantol & RC Tagbilaran City Club Pres. Mildred Kascher.

Among those who were recognized was Rotary Past Asst. Governor & Panglao Mayor Nila Paredes who was lauded for her active involvement in District 3860’s fundraisers 
 Panglao Mayor Nila Montero with daughter Aya & fiancĂ© Josh Nunez
Guest Speaker was Mrs. Rosalinda Paredes who rallied the Rotarians to be effective catalysts of change in the community
