2013 Soltera sa Inabanga Opening Number

The Soltera sa Inabanga 2013 Pageant last Saturday, June 29 held at the Inabanga Cultural Center was groundbreaking in the sense that the spoken lines from the emcee to the candidates and even from the guest speakers had to be in the vernacular.

It turned out to be my most challenging pageant hosting gig for I only had a few hours to go over the 32 page script before the show started

My fears of getting tongue- tied and getting ridiculed proved to be unfounded because the Inabangnons turned out to be very disciplined and respectful spectators.

I enjoyed it a lot and that emceeing stint in the Boholano dialect was an enjoyable and quite a learning experience for me. I am now looking forward to more hosting jobs in Bisaya

Thanks to Reigne Batausa Delgado for the all- Bisaya script.

The event last Saturday was not only the highlight of the town fiesta in honor of San Pablo de Apostol but also the oath- taking ceremonies for Inabanga's elected local officials led by its returning mayor Hon. Socorro Josephine "Roygie" Jumamoy.

It was graced by no less than Bohol Gov. Edgar M. Chatto and newly- elected 2nd District PB Member Hon. Jaja Jumamoy

Here now are the highlights of the Opening Number
