Bohol Thanks Stop Hunger Now & Rotary Intl District 3820

Today, B.R.I.D.G.E.S headed by our group founder Dennis Saco went to Baang, Catig-bian to distribute the Stop Hunger Now instant meal packs for 380 affected households from Brgy Bagtic & Brgy Baang 

Afterwards, we went straight to Brgy Sto. Nino, Inabanga to distribute more instant meal packs and nails/ tarp to 150 households. 

We then headed off to Brgy Anonang of the same town to distribute more instant meal packs to 165 household

Today, close to 700 affected households were able to partake of a nutritious meal to warm their tummies

Today's activity was documented for the donors' monitoring and assessment purposes

In an interview with Rtn. Ronaldo AV Calayan, Rotary Intl District 3820's Chair for Hunger Alleviation and as Project Coordinator for the donors of the 20,000 meals under DG Danilo Ona, he reiterated that the packed meals are to go straight to the earthquake victims of Bohol

Furthermore, Rtn Calayan said

As President of Stop Hunger Now Philippines Chapter, I intend to pack more meals for all calamity-hit areas most especially those of Typhoon Haiyan, if ever.

The meals came from District 3820 funds and I am responsible to give them to the  assigned persons for the dedicated causes such as the immediate alleviation of the affected quake victims in Bohol

Stop Hunger Now receives its funding primarily from church organizations, individual donations, and corporate sponsorships. Stop Hunger Now has already provided more than $100 million USD to more than 70 countries of great need.
