UFC Philippine Stallions Help Rebuild Bohol School

Sunday, November 10 was a bright and sunny day for the Saint Augustine Institute, a member of the Bohol Association of Catholic Schools (BACS).

This was the day when B.R.I.D.G.E.S. and Oplan Bangon Bohol came back to fulfill a promise

The school has 10 classrooms including a computer room and science laboratory.

The earthquake rendered the entire computer room useless when the concrete wall collapsed on all the computers

Some of the classrooms have to be torn down because the heavy damage on the concrete divisions poses a serious threat on the lives and limbs of the students and faculty

The secondary school that was founded in 1968 and based in Sagbayan was the recipient of construction supplies that would repair and rebuild some of its damaged classrooms

Father Limocon, SAI School Director, revealed that their immediate plan was to put up four makeshift classrooms.

Since we had sufficient funds, we gave them more than just nipa walling and tarpaulin for roofing.

We turned over G.I. sheets, Hardiflex, plywood, coco lumber and nails

The Philippine Stallions helped in hauling the construction materials as well as help in driving the first few nails into the erected structure
