Gayle Suzette Garces Yu Says Thank You

It was exactly two months ago when I flew to Manila with a dress on (it was my first time flying nga naka dress haha) and bringing along with me the courage to compete in a national beauty contest. Honestly, I did not know what to expect. I was taking a risk, but I was grabbing the opportunity - the opportunity to compete representing my hometown and province in a national competition which does not only promote beauty, but has a cause in protecting our environment. Two months is quite a long time but my stay was worthwhile.

Now, I am back in Calape. I am back to being the Gayle I have always been but equipped with the learnings and experiences I gained. Plus, the wonderful friends I got! I always believe that God puts me where I am for a reason. Joining Miss Philippines Earth indeed has taught me a lot. I did not get the crown for us, but I do hope I made you proud.
