Fusion of Food Flavors in Bohol Sandugo Festival 2014

FUSION OF FLAVORS

Ongoing as one of main events of this year’s Bohol Sandugo Festival is a fusion of  international gastronomic delights.

Dubbed “International Fusion Cuisine Nights”, the week- long foodfest being held at the Plaza Rizal features food stalls that offer attractive and reasonably priced international dishes for locals and tourists alike.

Aside from making the Sandugo Festival more exciting, more vibrant and more encompassing, it is also seen as a great addition in promoting and marketing Bohol to regain its footing as a prime tourist destination and a choice investment location nine months after the 7.2 magnitude earthquake.

Linguistic differences and cultural barriers have been set aside as the Bohol Provincial Government encourages the growing number of foreign residents in the province to actively get involved and be one with the local people in the celebration.

The Sandugo Festival aims to showcase the best that it can offer as a people to visitors, expats and guests.

BARTENDING COMPETITION

In between visiting and savoring the different cuisine offers, students can also participate in the bartending competition that also has an Open Category for all professional bartenders.

To enliven the activity, cultural shows and other entertainment activities have been scheduled already.

EVENT ORGANIZERS

The International Fusion Cuisine that will run until July 26 is organized by the Provincial Government of Bohol through the Bohol Investment Promotion Center and the Bohol Association of Hotels, Resorts and Restaurants (BAHRR).
