The Top Model Event of the 2013 Miss
World Pageant being held in Bali,
Indonesia has just been concluded
The good news is that our very own Megan
Young was selected as one of the Top Ten Finalists for the special award
The award winner will be known during the
Miss World Coronation Night this Saturday, Sept 28
130 CANDIDATES
In the Top Model Event, the 130 candidates
wore creations from 48 of Indonesia’s top designers.

According
to the grapevine in Bali, Megan was single- handedly picked by a member of
Indonesian royalty, Princess Ayu Mirah Suardhana who happens to be a designer
for the country’s elite to wear her creation and even let Miss Philippines wear
her very expensive jewelry to accessorize the gown

ONLY ASIAN IN TOP TEN
The Top Model Winner & the nine other
finalists will earn points from the said preliminary event that will determine
who makes it to the semifinals and eventually the final round of Miss World
2013

Of the ten finalists, five are from Europe,
two from the Americas, two from Africa and Megan is the only one from Asia
