Megan Young Shines In Miss World 2013 Beach Fashion Finals

Here are some of the photos taken during a very private photo shoot for the 11 Finalists of the Beach Fashion Challenge of Miss World 2013

The photo shoot was held at a very secluded part of exotic Bali in Indonesia

Our very own Megan Young is one of the 11 Finalists who were chosen from among the 130 candidates during a preliminary selection last week

It has been a Miss World tradition that whoever wins the Miss World crown always places in the Beach Beauty Finals

Since the Miss World Pageant is held in very conservative Indonesia, the Beach Beauty Event's Photo Shoot had to be done in sans the presence of the press

In fact,  in deference to the predominantly Moslem population's conservative nature, the girls had to be draped with sarongs in order to achieve a semblance of modesty

Since the pageant has been hit by protests by militant Moslems, all of the pageant's preliminary events and the finals have now been moved  to Bali to avoid further antagonizing conservative Indonesia

Miss World is the only international pageant that does not feature a swimsuit competition during the final night however, it does have a Beach Beauty Challenge Event which is held as a special feature prior to Coronation Night

Here are the 11 Finalists in Alphabetical Order:

Brazil - Sancler Frantz
China - Wei Wei Yu
France - Marine Lorphelin
Ghana - Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter
Indonesia - Vania Larissa
Italy - Sarah Baderna
Jamaica - Gina Hargitay
Moldova - Valeriya Tsurkan
Philippines - Megan Young
Spain - Elena Ibarbia Jiménez
Ukraine - Anna Zaiachkivska

My favorites for the Beach Fashion Award are:

Judge for yourself who stood out in the Beach Fashion Challenge Photo Shoot
